As a former bartender, I love the social aspect of piercing. I meet a variety of people whom I get to know a little about, then hand them a mirror and see their faces light up! As a woodworker too I love to work with my hands. Measuring, marking and double checking those for precise cuts. Piercing and woodworking share that aspect; measuring out and marking the piercing, then double checking those marks and measurements for a precise piercing. As a printmaker and sculptor I enjoy process which is a big part of piercing; setting up, tearing down a station along with sterilization procedures and jewelry inventory.
