Thank you everyone who came out to our Client Appreciation and Charity Day! We all had a BLAST! As you know, we raised money for the LUX center of the art. We raised enough for 250 kids to do a 6 week art program. 250 children that could be impacted by art or find a new way of expression. We are so grateful for each and everyone of you who came out to support our community.

Thank you everyone who came out to our Client Appreciation and Charity Day! We all had a BLAST! As you know, we raised money for the LUX center of the art. We raised enough for 250 kids to do a 6 week art program. 250 children that could be impacted by art or find a new way of expression. We are so grateful for each and everyone of you who came out to support our community.

Thank you all for your 16 years of support for Iron Brush Tattoo. We have come together with a common goal: to create an incredible experience and do what we love on the people who love it. We are humbled and inspired daily by our co-workers and clients.

All proceeds from tattooing and piercing will go to The Lux Center for the Arts who is helping our communities carry on art and culture. There will be a LUX center representative on site to answer any questions about how their programs benefit the community.
LUX CENTER FOR THE ARTS

***Tattooing Rules***
-first come first served noon-8pm
-$60-180 for most tattoos
-your choice of pre-drawn tattoos(huge selection of designs)
-designs cannot be altered
-your choice: color or black and grey
-designs available for pre-veiw at the shop in person
-one per person

-no hands, necks, ribs, or stomachs
-event is cash only to the charity: no gift cards
-all money goes to charity! 100% to charity! Representatives from the LUX will be in house to help share how they impact the community and where your donation goes!

Iron Brush Charity Day!

Our 15 year Anniversary Charity Day! We raised money for the LUX center for the Arts! 100% of all tattoos and body piercings went to the LUX.

We also accepted an incredible amount donations directly to the LUX. Relentless Merch was screening special event T-shirts live and donated the profits, and Motorfood was on site with some of the best food I have had in a long time. (Screaming Demon-is a 5 star sandwich anywhere on this planet). We had a raffle for a $300 tattoo (congratulations our winner Megan!!).

We are  so grateful for the incredible turnout! and so proud we can contribute to such an amazing community, who showed up to give so generously.

All in all, we raised: $6,671.00 for the LUX center for the arts!!

That is about 1/3 of their annual budget for the the art van, or 12 six week classes in the art van, or 90 scholarships. Thank you everyone for all your generous donations!

What is the LUX Art Van: Staffed by artists and educators Art Van deLUX contains all of the equipment and materials needed to facilitate a wide variety of hands-on art classes, such as ceramics, painting, drawing, jewelry making, printmaking, beadwork and textiles and general arts education. The LUX Art Van travels to low-income schools, St. Elizabeths, Youth Services Center and so many more places with all of the supplies that are necessary for that certain class, workshop or activity.

LUX Center for the Arts is a non-profit art center that offers experiences to suit a wide range of interests and tastes.  We teach art classes for youth and adults in pottery, printmaking, painting, jewelry, glass, and fibers. Classes are held at the art center or can be taken off-site with the Art Van deLUX program. Exhibitions in two galleries and a gift gallery represent the highest caliber art work of local, regional, and national artists.

As the only organization of its kind in Lincoln, coupled with its commitment to community outreach and an artist-in-residence program, LUX Center for the Arts is an important resource for the visual arts in our community.

Client Appreciation Day Was A Blast!

Wow! We cannot believe how amazing Client Appreciation Day Was! It was amazing to see people lined up outside the shop and down the block, waiting to get in! We cannot thank our clients and supporters enough once again for voting us Number One in the Lincoln’s Choice Awards and for all their dedication and support! We were able to do amazing tattoos and hang out all day with some of the best people around and were also able to raise money for an amazing cause, The Bay Skatepark. We want to thank The Killigans for playing an amazing show, to Hickory Road BBQ for hanging out all day serving fantastic BBQ, to The Bay Skatepark, to Daniel Luedert for taking professional photos of our clients and their tattoos; Here is his website and a link to some pictures he took that day: danphotos.com/ironbrush  And we especially want to thank everyone who stopped out and made this day truly amazing! We would not be here if it weren’t for our dedicated, loyal and fabulous clients! We are doing what we love and you all help us to pursue our dreams and strengthen our community! THANK YOU!

We love you Lincoln, and we want to give back! This is our Client Appreciation Day and we want you to come out to party
with us!

Here are the details!:
– Live music by The Killigans!
– Food Truck from Hickory Road BBQ!
– Tattoo prizes given away every hour!
– $100 Predrawn Tattoos by our artists for The Bay Skatepark Charity! – first come, first serve.
– Piercings $10 off and proceeds go to the charity!
– Professional photobooth! – Be the envy of your friends with a professional photo of your tattoos!

DONATIONS TO THE CHARITY:

We will be making tattoos for  $100 each, all pre-drawn by our artists.

There will be 100s of designs, all classic tattoos valued at $100-200. No changes to the designs. Placement of designs includes: arms, legs, backs-(no ribs, stomach, necks, or hands) Designs will be posted the day of the event in the shop.

All Piercings will be $10 off that day, and proceeds go to the charity!

All of the proceeds going to: The Bay Skatepark Charity.

 

First come, first serve! Come early spots will fill up quick.

 

 

PHOTOBOOTH:

We will have a professional photographer taking photos of all your tattoos.
Get all fancy and have a portrait style photo taken by really great guy.
reminder from the photographer:  anyone wanting a photo of their tattoo to wear loose clothing….. a skin impression of a bra strap/socks totally kills the aesthetics of a photo and it takes several hours for the skin not to show the impression of tight clothing….
