I was nervous about my first tattoo. I looked at a lot of different shops and talked to a lot of friends but ultimately knew as soon as I walked into Iron Brush, that’s where I wanted to get my tattoo done. Five years and eight tattoos later, I know I made the right choice. I’ve had work done by both Kevin and Nate, but would have no problem getting a tattoo from any of the guys; they all do phenomenal work and I’d recommend Iron Brush to anyone. It’s kind of hard to explain, but it’s just the kind of place you want to hang out and chill and chat. I know that whenever Kevin is drawing up my next tattoo, I can stand at the counter with any member of the staff and just talk about anything. They’re incredibly professional, the shop is spotless, but they definitely know how to have a good time.

I went in really nervous, and with a design that would have been HUGE. Ryan straight up told me what would look good and wouldn't. He was absolutely AMAZING and I would recommend him to anyone. He was extremely nice and made sure he gave me a good tattoo that was going to last. My tattoo is amazing and I absolutely love it. He also recognized that I was a person, not just a business transaction. He talked to me the entire time and we had a really good conversation. Iron Brush is extremely clean and professional. I would highly recommend them!

I wanted a piercing done and asked around for who would do the best, and was recommended to go to Iron Brush as they had the best around piercing tech done by Matt. he explained everything to me with such professionalism and was very patient with my questions. My fiancee who is 49 years old with out a single piercing (not even his ears) or tattoo now wants to go down and get a sleeve done and a piercing.. just because i told him how professional they were to me. Matt made sure i knew how to take care of my piercing before i left.. and i couldn\'t be happier..it looks beautiful and everyone compliments me on it.. can\'t wait to get my fiancee down there!!

My daughter wanted to get her belly button pierced since she wss around 16 years of age or so. I finally called Iron Brush to ask if they would do it and they said nope, not until she's 18. They gave me some excellent reasons for their stand on this issue. I appreciated their honesty and integrity and agreed 100% with what they said. On her 18th birthday we went to Iron Brush because I trusted them after that conversation. We had a fantastic experience with Matt Bavougian. I watched as he performed the piercing and he has an excellent sterile technique. I highly recommend Iron Brush for tattoos and piercings. AND thank you for standing up for what is right!

What can I say about Iron Brush that hasn't been said...Tyson and the entire staff at Iron Brush are some of the most talented and professional I have met in the industry. They really go out of their way to make sure you get the right tattoo for you...(piercings too). I am proud to say that I have some rather great tattoos by Tyson, however, the best thing that I believe I have recieved is that unique relationship between the Tattoo Artist and the client. Tyson goes out of his way to make you feel relaxed and good about what you are about to get...A piece of artwork forever inscribe on your skin. This is a heavy task and Tyson handles it like a pro every time. This is where I got my first tattoo and I'm so glad I did!! I was super nervous about getting it and Kevin made me feel soooooo calm through out the whole thing!! He made it a great experience and so did the rest of the crew! I saw some of their pictures on the website and I had asked around about different places. I have had the privilege and pleasure of knowing and being tattooed by Tyson for almost 10 years. I got my first tattoo from Tyson when I was 18 years old and now at 27, I have 5 tattoos, a 1/2 sleeve, and a thigh piece finished (props to Ryan Spangler for my new Korean style Tiger and Magpie 12/29/2011). I am the luckiest girl in the World to have been able to be tattooed by the real raw talent and artistry that abounds at Iron Brush. Went to Iron Brush with an idea. Dave took that idea and made it real. He captured a lot of what I was going for not just in the image itself, but in the metaphysical meaning of it all. An open mind like that is the symbol of a true artist in my opinion. If you see Dave on the street, you need to stop him, give him all of your money in your wallet, and thank him for existing.

I just received a tattoo from the awesome guys at Iron Brush (Ryan specifically) and I must say it was an awesome experience. A couple buddies and I had decided to get tattoos and we had looked around. I stumbled upon Iron Brush while looking online and I must say I was decided where I was getting my tattoo after browsing their website. I stopped by about 3 weeks before we had scheduled the tattoos and the staff there was amazing. Everyone was helpful and supportive of all of our tattoo idea's. I was getting a memorial tattoo for my mother who passed away and Ryan was awesome. I gave him a couple pictures of something I would like and he made it come true. He added bits and pieces to the design that just made it come to life. So a big shout out to Ryan. My friends tattoos came out amazing as well. One was done by Kevin and the other by Dave. None of us could believe at how well they came out. We went in expecting something good but left with something spectacular. I will definitely be going back to Iron Brush for my other tattoos. I walked into Iron Brush with a hastily drawn sketch, a grainy photo, and a nebulous idea for a tattoo. I handed the sketch and photo over to Nate and inarticulately described what it was that I wanted. After seeing his previous work I expected to get a high quality tattoo, but I didn’t expect to walk out of the shop with a stunning work of art on my shoulder. I've been fortunate enough to have my two favorite pieces done at Iron Brush Tattoo. It took me over ten years to make the decision to get my forearms tattooed and durning those long years Tyson was always patient and encouraged me to take my time and wait for the right moment. Now I'm set with two solid pieces of classic Japanese themes that are so amazing both in primary content and back ground. If I would only know then what I know today. What has sold me on Iron Brush is not just the rock solid tattoos coming from Kevin, Nate, Ryan, and Tyson. It is the fact the Tyson took the time to put up with me and remembered that his business is not built on ego, but instead on a very personal symbiotic relationship with each client that he tattoos. Lincoln is a funny place. It's a small city in the middle of a huge cornfield, but there are always amazing people that hail from its streets. Iron Brush is no different. We are very lucky to have, in my opinion, world class tattooers available to us. Go in meet the guys and gals, look at their work, and see if it's fit with what your looking for. My guess is you won't need to look anywhere else.

If you are looking for great tattoos from great artists (not to mention the nicest guys you will ever meet), look no further. Tyson and the boys are the real deal. I started going to Iron Brush about four years ago. Two sleeves and a few neck tattoos later and I am still constantly amazed by their creativity, dedication to quality work, and love for what they do. In stark contrast to other shops I have been in, the guys at Iron Brush create an amazing atmosphere of teamwork between artist and client. I can't count how many times I had an idea in my head but wasn't able to draw it or even explain it well. Tyson always knew the right questions to ask in order to get started, and a great tattoo always came from it. I've also had a number of cover-ups done, all of which could never have been possible without Tyson's imagination and experience. Stop on down at the shop and make your next tattoo the best one yet. I was looking for a place to get my first tattoo. I'm a nurse and cleanliness is very important to me! Iron Brush had been highly recommended by friends and their website answered every question I could possibly have. When I went in to schedule my appointment I was met by very nice staff, who was willing to calm my fears and explain everything to me. On Feb. 24th I went in to have my tattoo, a cross with angel wings in honor of my little brother that had recently passed. My appointment was made with Ryan, who was incredible! He was so nice and reassuring. He explained everything so I knew what to expect before we started. He was very friendly, chatting with me and my husband throughout the entire tattoo; which made me even more relaxed! Needless to say I was speechless by my tattoo! It exceeded my expectations! Ryan did an awesome job! I can't rave about him enough!

I went to Iron Brush for my first tattoo at 19 and have gone back for all my others! Tyson was really cool about working with me to create custom henna designs that would compliment my body. The artwork he has given me is amazing and people are always asking me where I got my tattoos. I tell them Iron Brush is the only way to go!

I just got my tattoo yesterday and I love it! I got it done by Kevin and I would have to say he made my 3rd tattoo experience AWESOME!!!! It was so fast and it wasn't painful at all! When I woke up this morning my tattoo didn't even hurt. I've been getting my ear piercing work done by Matt for almost 2 years now. I am always glad to know that Lincoln has a reliable, safe and excellent business for tattoos and piercings. Matt has been wonderful for my many potentially stupid questions. As a huge supporter of music and culture in my home town of Lincoln I am proud to say Tyson is a good friend of mine. His talents as an artist and business owner go beyond words. I cannot say enough about what he has done for me and my band the Killigans. Such as helping us by providing us with awsome artwork for our merch design and personally tattooing myself and the other guys in the band. He has spent many hours creating awsome designs for us over the years and I cant say enough on how great they have all turned out. Yeah there are alot of good tattooers out there but you will be doing yourself a huge injustice by not going to Iron Brush to check out all the great artist Tyson has employeed on his team of super cool and talented individuals.
